Some people discover their life’s purpose through deep meditation or years of college; Bill found his at age 10, after walking into a radio station during a fourth-grade field trip.

Bill grew up in Parkersburg, WV and Marietta, OH, attended Ohio University, and spent nearly a decade in the United States Air Force working for Armed Forces Radio & Television. Bill even did a tour as a Basic Military Training Instructor.

He says coming to Toledo was like finally coming home after years of moving up and down the dial in Columbus, San Antonio, Sacramento, New York City…and a few other places you’ve probably never heard of!

Bill is a husband, dad, and now a grandfather! He’s an avid animal lover, roots for the Boston Red Sox, and is a lifelong Pittsburgh Steeler fan. And don’t tell anyone, but his guilty pleasure is listening to Yacht Rock! He’s a sucker for Steely Dan and Michael McDonald.

Suzie | Co-Host

Suzie is a longtime Toledo radio personality and co-host on 93.5 WRQN, Toledo’s Classic Hits station. She is part of the station’s morning lineup, helping listeners start their day with music, entertainment, and local conversation.

Suzie became widely known in Northwest Ohio through her years on Toledo radio and her partnership with veteran broadcaster Denny Schaffer on WRQN’s morning show. She worked alongside Schaffer and producer Paul Spoerl until Schaffer’s retirement in December 2024.

Known for her engaging on-air personality and strong connection with local listeners, Suzie has been a familiar voice in the Toledo market for many years, contributing to WRQN’s reputation as one of the area’s most recognized Classic Hits stations.
